The Faculty Club Offers The Faculty Club began in 1923 with a foundation of kinship and although it has grown and transformed over the years, it continues as a true part of the Campus Community. The Club upholds its’ tradition of excellence and is committed to being a forum where ideas, camaraderie, friendships and social events are shared by all members within a unique, comfortable environment. The place to connect among colleagues and family, clients and friends – with membership open to faculty, staff, and administrators, as well as alumni and friends of the University. Home-Away-from-Home: Meeting someone on campus? Feel free to come a little early and utilize the members lounge to collect your thoughts. Need to get away from your office, but don’t want to leave campus? The library is the perfect spot to catch up on a little work. Time in between campus activities – come to The Club and have a cup of coffee and maybe read the Times or catch up with the days events on the big screen TV. The Club has several nooks and crannies, from the library and members lounge to the comfortable couches in the Grand Lounge and Colleagues.

High Speed Internet: The recent addition of high speed internet access, in all of our private dining spaces as well as the Library, and Club Lounge makes meetings and a quick check of the email even more simple. Just pop up your lap-top and speed your way through cyberspace while at lunch or during a break. This is yet another member service brought to you at no additional charge.
Ticket Exchange: If you have football, basketball, symphony or Broadway series tickets that you suddenly find you are unable to use, –The Club can help. Contact member relations for details 688-8584. Watch the e-mail postings for updates.
Seven Small Private Rooms: Whether it’s an intimate dinner, a graduation party or bridal shower – a monthly card group get-together or a business meeting - The Club has the space, and amenities from continental breakfast, served luncheons, a wide assortment of snacks and break items and of course dinners ranging from light fare to an elegant gourmet feast.
The Grand Lounge: Members have booked this picturesque space to hold wedding ceremonies and receptions, departmental meetings, lovely formal luncheons, lavish afternoon receptions, dance parties, music recitals ( the Grand Lounge is home to a handsome baby grand piano) and beautiful anniversary celebrations. You next event could be held here as well.
Happy Hour: Every Thursday evening The Club hosts a Happy Hour in Colleagues. From 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. there are reduced prices on appetizers and house drinks, including the Wines of the quarter.
Menus, Menus Menus: The extensive lunch and dinner menus have numerous selections added each and every quarter...so there are always new and exciting items to try. Additionally, the Chef plans to tempt you with innovative weekly specials in the Main dining room for lunch. Banquets are no exception, the extensive meal selections are only suggestions, as the Chef is happy to accommodate your tastes and desires.
Special Dietary Needs: Tasty selections are always available whether you are dinning in Main or lunching in Colleagues. If special dietary needs arise when planning an event, just tell the catering managers and they will help you select an item to complement your other menu choices.
Catering Services: Professional-Catering managers and event planners to help you coordinate your events, from room setting and diagram decisions, to linen and flowers selections. What wines to choose, the amount of hors d'oeuvres needed and help with timing your event –all to make the occasion a success and maximize your time with your guests.
On Site Executive Chef: You have access to not only our Executive Chef, but also his trained staff of sous chefs and kitchen personnel.
Rotating Art Exhibits: The main hall and members lounge have display space where you will see some of the best works from faculty, alumni and current students – all connected to Ohio State. The exhibitions vary from lush watercolors to huge oils, bold sculptures to delicate drawings and change several times each year. The Artist Opening Reception - hosted by the Faculty Club – is open to you and your guests and is an opportunity to talk with the artist directly. The majority of the artwork displayed is available for sale.
