The Ohio State University Faculty Club serves lunch and dinner, offering diverse menus throughout the day. A spectacular Sunday Brunch is held each month. All our dishes are prepared fresh daily by our Executive Chef and an expert staff, and are served in one of several handsome dining areas.
The Main Dining Room. Elegantly formal with a magnificent view of Mirror Lake Hollow, this room serves lunch daily, and Columbus' best Sunday brunch, and may be reserved for groups of 50-200 people.
The Grand Lounge. With soaring ceilings, crystal chandeliers, hardwood floors and a wonderful view of the Club Garden, this room may be reserved for cocktail receptions, buffet or served dinners, and dancing for up to 150 people.
The Private Dining Rooms. The perfect setting for an intimate dinner party or quiet dining space. The Club offers six such rooms that can accommodate up to 20 people each.
Colleagues. Rich cherry appointments and an inviting cocktail lounge set this room apart from the rest of the Club. For a relaxed and casually elegant dining experience, you will want to join us for cocktails, conversation, our buffet-style lunch and mouth-watering ala carte dinner service. COLLEAGUES opens onto the Club Garden and Patio where outdoor seating is available during the spring and summer months.
The Barrister Club. Tucked into the heart of the bustling new South Campus Gateway, the Barrister Club is just blocks from the Drexel Gateway Theater, the Wexner Center for the Arts, and OSU's Weigel Hall, making it the ideal location for events associated with art shows, concerts and movies. Overlooking restaurants and boutiques on High Street, this Arts & Crafts-inspired facility is warm and inviting, but also boasts high-tech presentation technology. Perfect for weddings and family celebrations as well as for business meetings, the entire Club is handicap-accessible.
Relaxing at the Club
At the Faculty Club we believe that along with good food should come good conversation. Two rooms create just this type of atmosphere. A favorite room at the Club is the Library. With over fifty current publications available for your reading pleasure, this room is an ideal setting to enjoy quiet conversation or simply to relax in the pages of your favorite periodical. In contrast, the Member's Lounge is a colorful and inviting room available to our members throughout the day for complimentary coffee, conversation, and camaraderie. The Lounge features a rotating art exhibit, you can enjoy as you relax in warmth and style.
Reserving the Club
For many years the Faculty Club has provided more than just a place to dine. Our long tradition of hospitality and campus location make it the ideal setting for hosting receptions for visiting scholars, departmental gatherings, anniversaries and wedding receptions. As a member of the Club, you will find that reserving a room is as easy as picking up the phone. Reservations are taken on a priority schedule basis and rooms may be reserved for either academic or private affairs.
